It records data produced from the highest quality digital cinematography cameras while being small and light enough to be carried on one shoulder by the operator. The removable disk packs provide massive amounts of recording capacity and the unit provides instant playback via the screen and controls. It is an industry first and has won a number of awards (see below).
We took the Codex Portable project from concept right through to manufacture, providing all design and mechanical engineering services.
